The site now has social share markers at the bottom of each post. The right hand column also has share icons connecting viewers with sites that have a profile. I know the youtube icon is a bit premature but I wanted to make sure it fit for later.
This is a test post.
All content is now being created as posts and then redirected via the use of tags. UFCdotcom as a tag sends posts to the UFC archive. KEYBOARDKIMURA as a tag sends posts to the Keyboard Kimura page. HEAVYMMA as a tag will also send posts to the Heavy archives.
All other posts will be posted to the blog timeline.
This is a quick test of the newsfeed. Testing the sorting of the posts. Keyboard Kimura posts are being routed to the KK page via the tag “KEYBOARDKIMURA” while the posts for Heavy MMA are being routed to the Heavy MMA page via the “HEAVYMMA” tag. This is working. The interesting thing to see will be whether the tag is being automatically added when the feed is brought in and the posts are created.
Next up is filtering those tags out of the regular blog space on the home page. The posts still need to be created and filtered to their respective pages but they do not need to be viewed on the home page. This will be done by hiding the designated tags or only displaying the ESK news tag. This is a test post to see if it is possible.
